CATS

Feral cats are the offspring of stray or abandoned household pets. Raised without human contact, they revert to a wild state and form colonies wherever food and shelter are available. With a steady food source cats can quickly reproduce and over populate an area and threaten public health.
Some people feel like they are helping the wild cats by providing food, but in reality they are only creating a bigger problem. In order to control a problem with feral cats humane trapping and removal may be needed, along with the elimination of food and water sources and habitat suitable for housing cats. |
